Through the dedicated efforts of Mr. Omid Binandeh, an alumnus of the Department of Forestry, and under the supervision of Dr. Loghman Ghahramani, a faculty member of the same department, the knowledge and skill of "Gazveh-giri" (a traditional form of manna harvesting) has been successfully registered on the National Intangible Cultural Heritage list. This practice is one of the traditional utilization methods common in the forests of Kurdistan Province. This achievement highlights the cultural and scientific value of indigenous knowledge in the sustainable conservation and utilization of the region's natural resources and forests.
