During the ninth meeting of the seventh session of the University of Kurdistan’s Audit Board, the academic promotion of four faculty members was officially approved.

According to the University of Kurdistan Public Relations, the meeting was held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 (27 Khordad 1405), presided over by the University President and attended by board members at the Office of the President. Following a comprehensive review of the submitted dossiers, the board approved the promotion of the following faculty members:

A) Promotion from Associate Professor to Professor:

• Dr. Amjad Farzinpour: Faculty member in the Department of Veterinary Medicine – Poultry Health and Diseases.

B) Promotion from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor:

• Dr. Mohammad Fathollahi: Faculty member in the Department of Earth Sciences.

• Dr. Seyed Hossein Hosseinimehr: Faculty member in the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences – Sport Biomechanics.

• Dr. Najmuddin Jabbari: Faculty member in the Department of Persian Language and Literature.
